How Myrtle Beach Sewer Line Repair Works

One call, a camera inspection, a written quote, then the repair. No surprises in between.

  • Camera inspection first
  • Written, itemized quotes
  • Licensed and insured

Myrtle Beach Sewer Line Repair repairs and replaces sewer and water lines in Myrtle Beach, Conway and across Horry County. Call (843) 429-6659 and every job starts the same way: a camera inspection, a written and itemized quote, then licensed plumbers doing the work, with permits pulled and inspections scheduled.

What happens when you call

  1. We ask a few questions. What you are seeing, how old the house is, whether anything is backing up and whose name is on your water bill, since your utility’s rules apply to your line. Active sewage backups are scheduled first.
  2. Your utility comes first on backups. GSWSA’s rule is “Call GSWSA before you call your plumber”: (843) 234-8460, or (843) 443-8200 after hours, and its investigation costs nothing. In Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Conway and Loris, call your city. In Murrells Inlet, call GCWSD at (843) 546-8408 after hours. Our sewer backup page covers the first hour.
  3. Camera inspection. A sewer inspection with our camera records the line and marks its route and depth on the ground.
  4. Written options. You get an itemized quote for each repair that will work, from a spot repair to full replacement, trenchless or dug.
  5. You approve. Nothing starts until you say yes.
  6. Permits and locates. We pull the permit and request SC811 locates for public utility lines, which utilities have 3 full working days to answer. SC811 does not mark private lines, so we find yours with the camera’s locator.
  7. The repair, built to your utility’s standards and South Carolina’s residential code.
  8. Final check and inspection. We run the camera through the finished pipe and schedule the inspection. In GSWSA areas, a new lateral is inspected on its bedding, backfilled to two-thirds of the pipe’s height.
  9. Restoration. We backfill and restore the yard, driveway or sidewalk as quoted.

Pricing, plainly

  • Every quote is written and itemized before work starts.
  • Permit fees, utility fees such as GSWSA’s connection fees, and restoration are separate lines.
  • If opening the ground changes the job, you get a revised written quote before we continue.

Who does the work

Every job is done by licensed plumbers and covered by liability insurance. South Carolina requires a state-licensed plumber for plumbing work over $500, though owner-occupants may do their own work. Ask to see the license and the certificate of insurance before work starts.
